MARIA JOSE CARMEZIM RABAÇA

• Pintora portuguesa afincada en España desde 1969. Formada académicamente en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Porto (Portugal), continuó desarrollando su carrera artística de forma paralela a la actividad docente (que aún hoy practica en su propio estudio de pintura).
   
           Desde 1981 viene realizando y participando en exposiciones artísticas, tanto a título individual como colectivo, en España, Francia, Portugal, Italia, Japón, Rusia, Estados Unidos, Taiwán, India, Inglaterra y Holanda  totalizando, en la actualidad, un número superior a 200.
   
          Carmezim lleva cosechando premios y galardones año tras año desde 1989, la mayor parte de ellos fuera de nuestras fronteras, concretamente en Francia.
   
          Su obra se encuentra representada en los fondos del Museo de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando en Madrid, en el Museo Municipal de Resende en Portugal, y en el Museo Judetean Artá de Prahova, Rumanía y sus trabajos permanecen en varias colecciones particulares en Francia, Israel, Méjico, Portugal, España...

MELISSA HEFFERLIN

•        Melissa Hefferlin es una artista estadounidense formada en el Instituto de Arte Otis Parsons, Los Ángeles, y en la Academia de Arte de Rusia en San Petersburgo (antigua Leningrado). Es  artista profesional desde hace treinta años. Es miembro de diferentes asociaciones como Oil Painters of America, la Unión de Artistas Rusos de San Petersburgo - Rusia,  ASPAS - Pintores Pastelistas Españoles (Miembro Cualificado), Mujeres Artistas Americanas, y  Pastel Society of America (Signature Member). Ha ganado premios en el Salmagundi Club de Nueva York, Pastel Society of America, Salon International, Association of Women Artists y muchos otros. Su trabajo ha sido publicado ampliamente, incluyendo Artists Magazine, Pastel Journal y American Art Collector. Tiene trabajos en el Hunter Museum of American Art, la colección Semens, el Museo de la Academia Rusa de Arte, la Universidad del Sur y la Ciudad de Ronda, España, por nombrar algunos. Hefferlin trabaja el óleo, el pastel, la tinta y la  impresión en relieve. Imparte talleres en el sureste de Estados Unidos. Vive en Andalucía desde hace 11 años.

She has been a professional artist for thirty years. She is a member of different associations such as Oil Painters of America, the Union of Russian Artists of Saint Petersburg-Russia, ASPAS-Spanish Pastel Society (Signature Member), American Women Artists, and Pastel Society of America (Signature Member). She has won awards at the Salmagundi Club of New York, Pastel Society of America, Salon International, Association of Women Artists, and many others. Her work has been published widely, including Artists Magazine, Pastel Journal, and American Art Collector. She has works at the Hunter Museum of American Art, the Semens Collection, the Museum of the Russian Academy of Art, the University of the South, and the City of Ronda, Spain, to name a few. Hefferlin works with oil, pastel, ink and relief printing. She teaches workshops in the southeastern United States. She has lived in Andalusia for 11 years.
